Toddler Beds for us

Two weeks ago the girls decided that the crib railing was not really something that was going to get in their way. When I was in their powder room putting away their bows, I saw Brianna walk into her room then I looked over and saw her in her crib before it sunk in what had just happened she was next to me. I asked her what she just did and she informed me that she wanted a book in her bed so she got it. Simple as that. I called Jeremy upstairs and we got the tools to make their cribs into toddler beds. Nap time that day did not go so well as they were too excited with their big girl beds and we assume the worse for that night. To our surprise, the girls each stayed in their beds with just the normal chatter before they fell asleep. When they woke up again to our surprise they remained in their beds until we went up and told them they could get out. It has been two weeks and they still remain in their beds until we go out to tell them they can come out. I don't know how much longer this is going to last but I am enjoying it. I am sure the day will come where we will turn over in our bed to find one of them (if not both) looking at us ready to ask us what we are going to to today.
