So since I only go in the office on Wednesday and work from home the other 4. Home days, I’m around the house in my yoga pants or other comfy clothes. Today (a non office day) I was getting ready to bring the girls to school, getting them dressed, fixing their hair, getting backpacks made, making breakfast, etc . When this exchange occurs between Sophia and I with Brianna agreeing with Sophia.
Sophia:‘now you change’ (I’m wearing a standard Accenture red shirt and yoga pants).
Me:‘no Sophia this is my day clothes’
S: ‘I don’t like them, wear your downtown clothes’
M:’ no Sophia today is a home-work day not a downtown-work day’
S: ‘Go downtown so you wear your downtown clothes to drop me off’
I guess she was embarrassed by my outfit and lack of makeup/hair in bun. I might have told her that I was going to change when I picked her up….but I have not…lets see how this goes down.
